The new one is much cleaner looking. I like the scope of this one and the foreground detail is nice. I almost didn't notice the dude standing there but it all feels like a pretty complete piece to me. Good job. Please keep posting more art.

I feel ya. I am finishing a piece right now and it ain't great but it's a testament of what I have learned so far. But I am kind of weird so I like the heaviness of the colors. The composition is cool.

I wish the netflix Death Note would have used this concept for their design of Ryuk to match it's more horror tone. I like it.

I hated what they did with the series when they made it a movie tho

I like he's casually just perched while appearing to shoulder and entire world on his back. He reminds me of Lucifer. A great balance of simplicity and detail. I love the out of focus feather. I kind of want to read that comic now.

Very strong concept and cleverly depicted. I love your use of contrast in colors and design. The character is hollow and bony while the gold is round and meaty looking. I also like how its pelvis is a cache. It certainly gives the impression of a hungering greed. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Very masterful and original concept. I like that it actually looks like art and not some anime/fan art/animation style doodle. If I were more primitive I would start worshiping them as GODS!
